Raft Masters was founded in 1989 and has been providing high quality rafting adventures and lifelong memories for over 30 years. Here at Raft Masters we take our name seriously and strive to provide safe and exemplary service at every stage of the rafting experience.
From checking guests in, to navigating through class II-IV rapids, to transporting guests back to our headquarters after their trip, Raft Masters staff pride themselves on excellent service. Raft Masters combines this drive for excellence in customer service with a passion for what we do. Every member of our operation is enthusiastic about creating exciting and memorable rafting experiences.
Our guides are passionate about safely navigating multiple classes of whitewater and are constantly encouraging each other to learn, grow, and improve. Our Guest Representatives and Bus Drivers work hard to take care of the “behind the scenes” tasks and to provide enthusiastic customer service – all of which are essential in creating top-notch rafting adventures. Raft Masters’ staff value fun, safety, growth, learning, excellence, and a passion for what we do.
At Raft Masters we strive to foster a culture of inclusivity. Regardless of background and identity, we work toward ensuring that all of our employees feel a sense of safety and belonging. Discrimination, harassment, hazing and mistreatment of others are not tolerated.
Our staff look out for each other on and off the river. On the river, our guides prioritize each other’s safety and are trained to watch out for and assist all guests and guides. Off the river our shared passions for whitewater rafting and customer service lead to lifelong friendships between people from all walks of life. Our staff form a tight-knit community that enhances the experience of being a Raft Masters employee for everyone.
As a Raft Masters guide you will have the opportunity to work on the Arkansas River. At our Canon City, Colorado location, you will be guiding on one of the most rafted rivers in the United States.
